IFA: Deep Subprime Auto Financing

A lending subsidiary of IFMG, InterActive Financial Acceptance, LLC (IFA), is a preferred lender at many of the largest dealer groups in the country, both public and private.

IFA works in areas other lenders do not — deep sub-prime customers with credit scores in the 400 range — and it does so at lower cost than most of our competitors.

IFA is a win-win for all concerned. Thanks to a good down payment from the customer and lower costs for the dealer, IFA can make deals happen when credit scores are below 520. Dealerships with suitably priced vehicles on the lot — and a good closer — wind up making profits on deals other lenders would not touch. Customers get a better ride and a chance to rebuild their credit.

In an age of automation for efficiency, IFA is decidedly old school. It's called situational lending, and what it means in plain English is that every applicant is handled on a case-by-case basis. IFA isn't looking for an excuse to say no; it's looking for the stability to say yes.
